Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Wound Care Provider

Carolyn Robinson is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Carolyn has worked in the medical field since 1992. She was a star basketball athlete in high school and after graduation received a basketball scholarship to attend Paris Junior College. After much prayer and consideration, Carolyn decided to end her basketball career and enroll in nursing school. Carolyns dad played an integral part in her decision, always encouraging her to get an education. After becoming an LVN, Carolyn went on to get her RN license. During a mission’s trip to Nicaragua, Carolyn felt impressed that she should continue her nursing education and enroll in Nurse Practitioner school. This have given her the opportunity to not only help those needing medical attention but also spiritual direction as well. In 2008, she became a Board Certified-Family Nurse Practitioner.

She is also a Certified Wound Care Specialist. Carolyn has a heart for all patient care, but she has a special love for geriatric patients. In her early career she worked in the nursing home and has many wonderful stories to tell. As we often say, “She could write a book”.

Carolyn has an identical twin sister that is also a Nurse Practitioner. They went through the program together and although they live a few hours apart, they share the same passion for helping people. Carolyn has always been an athlete. She loves all kinds of sports, but especially football. She never misses a Dallas Cowboys game! Though Carolyn has a competitive side, when it comes to helping people, her philosophy is “there is no room for bias”. She loves everyone, treats fairly, and cares deeply. She is greatly loved by her family, friends, coworkers and patients.
